Don’t Have an Alcoholic Beverage … Play!

Wednesday, 1. April 2026

If you enjoy a cocktail ever so often, leave your money out of the casino if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your pocketbook, your billfold, and keep all money, credit cards and checkbooks at home. Take only the money you intend to spend on refreshments, tipping and few dollars you expect to throw away and keep the rest behind.

Pessimistic? Absolutely not. Realistic more like. You may well experience a success following a drunken night out with your compatriots and be blessed sufficiently to catch a marathon roll at a smokin craps game. Hang on to that adventure seeing that it is as brief as it gets if you continuously consume alcohol and wager. These activities just do not mix.

Keeping your money back at the hotel is a bit dramatic, but defensive measures for dramatic behavior is a requirement. If you wager to succeed, then don’t consume alcohol and bet. If you like to burn your assets nary a worry, then consume all the free booze you can handle, but do not pack plastic credit and checks to throw into the mix of following squanderings after your hooched up head squanders everything!

Permit me to take this a single step more. Don’t drink alcohol and then head on to the internet to wager in your favorite internet casino either. I enjoy a beer from the comfort of my abode, but seeing that I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit at my fingertips, I can’t consume alcohol and gamble.

How come? Even though I don’t drink alcohol to excess, once I drink alcohol, it’s clearly sufficient to befuddle my judgment. I gamble, so I don’t drink when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, do not gamble when you do. When mixed, both create an awful, and crazy, drink.
